Please join us in Midway’s library to spend some time with our most recent book acquisitions, including a large selection from Roma Publications, one of our favorite publishers. Located in Amsterdam, Roma was founded in 1998 by graphic designer Roger Willems and artists Mark Manders and Marc Nagtzaam.

We are also screening Bookworks revisited. Part 1: a selection, 1987, by Ulises Carrión (1941 – 1989). In 1975, Carrión founded Other Books and So in Amsterdam (1975 – 1979), as a bookshop-gallery and distribution center for artist publications and multiples. He arrived at visual art practice through his interest in print culture and media, which led him to engage with mail art and eventually performance, film and video.
