Please join us on March 31st at 4pm in welcoming Forrest Nash, founder of Contemporary Art Daily, who will be talking about the organization and its future projects. Contemporary Art Daily is one of the most popular contemporary art websites. Their approach is simple: they feature documentation of one exhibition per day on the site, provide a press release and links to the gallery or museum where the exhibition is taking place, but no analysis of the show itself or of individual art works. Their simplicity is their strength, allowing viewers the freedom to choose how deeply they delve into any of the exhibitions. Since 2008, they have amassed an important archive of exhibitions, and have launched a curated directory of art spaces called Contemporary Art Venues. They will also be launching a new project called Contemporary Art Quarterly in July of this year.
